The opening cut on their debut album "Advance to Boardwalk," a conceptual trip around the Monopoly game board, introduces the listener to Cella Dwellas' wizardry. There are two different styles that the duo employ on there debut album: fantasia bordering on horror core and straight up hardcore hip hop. The duo's lyrical content may be based on hallucinations and magic but their precision and articulation on the mic make this album accessible and exciting.
Released on March 26, 1996 on Loud/RCA Records, the album peaked at #160 on the Billboard 200 chart and #21 on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums.
