Facemob - The Other Side Of The Law

their debut album, The Other Side of the Law, Facemob deal in the hard-edged pseudo-reality tales that have always distinguished the work of Geto Boys. However, the group has yet to find its own voice. Although the Mob can occasionally craft an insightful, cutting lyric, they tend to rely on both musical and lyrical gangsta clichés, which makes the record a chore to listen to.
Released August 7, 1996 on Rap A Lot Records, the album peaked at #51 on the Billboard 200 chart and #6 on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums.
