Crucial Conflict - The Final Tic

On their debut album, The Final Tic, they have created a distinctive musical style that they refer to as "Rodeo," as well as "Snappin," a term they use to describe their own brand of rhyme. Of course, Crucial Conflict aren't quite the trailblazers they would like to be, this is still funky, hardcore rap at its most basic. However, it sounds damn good, particularly when they work a deep groove and catchy hook like they do on the hit single "Hay." The rest of The Final Tic provides enough thrills to satisfy most fans of their sound.
Released July 2, 1996 on Pallas/Universal Records, the album peaked at #12 on the Billboard 200 chart and #5 on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums and was certified gold by RIAA.
