504 Boyz - Goodfellas

Even after listening to Goodfellas, it's unclear whether the 504 Boyz are an actual group or whether this is just another No Limit sampler. Either way, this album certainly plays like the latter, as innumerable rappers trade verses here to assembly-line quality Dirty South productions. It really doesn't matter album or compilation, if it's a late '90s No Limit release, it's essentially a label sampler. Love or Hate 'em, the No Limit soldiers are up to their usual business here, so don't expect too many surprises again, for better or worse. Released May 2, 2000 on No Limit/Priority Records, the album peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart and #1 on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums and was certified gold by RIAA.
